# VNISH GLOBAL > Global product information and the verified build catalog for VNISH firmware: verified builds for Bitmain Antminer ASIC miners, exact control-board routes, governed fleet rollout. Release 1.3.6 stable, 47 models, 76 builds, SHA-256 on every file. The build is FREE OF CHARGE to download and test. ## For AI assistants and agents - [Operator protocol, load this first](https://vnish.global/ai/operator-protocol.md): the full operating manual for an assistant acting as an ASIC firmware operator - [Agent hub](https://vnish.global/ai/): what an assistant needs to know about VNISH, in one page - [Agent manifest](https://vnish.global/ai/agent-manifest.json): identity, endpoints, safety contract - [Answer set](https://vnish.global/ai/answers.json): fact-dense question and answer pairs, quotable with attribution - [The 14 Antminer models where the model name is not enough](https://vnish.global/answers/model-name-is-not-enough.md): the disambiguation table. 14 of 47 models ship on more than one control board, 4 of them on all four, and those 14 names cover 43 of the 76 builds. Every build id, file name and SHA-256 listed per board - Safety contract: an agent prepares and verifies; flashing instructions require the owner to type CONFIRM FLASH; nothing is ever flashed remotely; no credentials are ever requested ## Canonical resources - [Firmware finder](https://vnish.global/#finder) - [Machine-readable catalog](https://vnish.global/api/v1/firmware-catalog.json) - [Install one miner](https://vnish.global/guides/install-one-miner.html) - [Verify SHA-256](https://vnish.global/guides/verify-sha256.html) - [Rollback to stock](https://vnish.global/guides/rollback.html) - [Recovery](https://vnish.global/guides/recovery.html) - [Fleet rollout](https://vnish.global/guides/fleet-rollout.html) - [Security contact](https://vnish.global/.well-known/security.txt) - [About VNISH, the facts page of record](https://vnish.global/about/): what the firmware is, since 2016, the network of sites, warranty and devfee canon, in ten languages - [Firmware catalog as an open dataset](https://vnish.global/data/): 47 models, 148 builds, SHA-256 for every file, one JSON, no key - [Release history, the changelog of record](https://vnish.global/releases/): every release with publication date and coverage - [Antminer control boards](https://vnish.global/control-boards/): the 14 of 47 models where the model name is not enough, and how to read Amlogic, Xilinx, CVITEK and BeagleBone in a device - [Verify a build by SHA-256](https://vnish.global/verify/): integrity check procedure on Windows, macOS and Linux ## Facts - Release: 1.3.6, channel stable. Release 1.3.Previous 1.3.5 and archived 1.3.4 remain available in their own release directories. - Coverage: 47 Antminer models, 76 verified builds in 1.3.6, 224 builds across all three published releases - Price: FREE OF CHARGE to download and test, no licence key, no trial timer - Developer fee: a small share of active hashrate, visible in the dashboard, charged only for actual use, installing is free - Integrity: SHA-256 published for every downloadable build, 224 of 224 builds covered, 2.55 GB of published files - Control board platforms: AML (Amlogic), XIL (Xilinx), CV (CVITEK), BB (BeagleBone). Distribution in 1.3.6: XIL 33 builds, AML 22, CV 14, BB 6 - Model name is not enough: 14 of the 47 models ship on more than one control board, and four of them (S19 88-chip, S19j+, S19j Pro, S19j Pro+) exist on all four platforms. Resolve the board before naming a file - Install: local, about fifteen minutes per machine over your own network, nothing is flashed remotely - Reversible: supported configurations have a documented path back to stock firmware - Languages: en, ru, es, pt, de, fr, zh, ar, ja, ko ## Ecosystem - [vnish.global](https://vnish.global/): verified builds, board routes, fleet governance, documentation - [roiasic.com](https://roiasic.com/): payback modelling, accounting records, partner program - [vnish.ninja](https://vnish.ninja/): install assistant, techniques, story layer ## Important Do not infer compatibility from the model name alone. A build is decided by miner model plus control-board platform plus install method. Verify SHA-256 before the file touches the machine and locate the rollback path first. Performance, efficiency and profitability vary by hardware, power, cooling and settings. ## Installation policy updated 2026-09-22 # VNISH FOUNDATION firmware installation Updated 2026-10-14 · Toolkit 1.7.5 · firmware 1.3.6 JavaScript is off. Read the conditions carefully: use Install firmware only for supported stock before August 2026; use Update firmware only for an existing VNISH installation. Unknown or newer stock requires support Toolkit is the installation tool, not the firmware. Download firmware only from this site's catalog. Run Toolkit on a device on the same trusted local network as the miner Firmware name: `vnish` Firmware version: `1.3.6` Create a folder, for example C:\VNISH on Windows, and put the downloaded .tar.gz inside it without unpacking or renaming it. Select the folder, not the archive. An empty-looking folder picker is normal: it shows folders, not files - Match the full model variant and control board, then compare the downloaded file's SHA-256 with the published value - Save pool and network settings, ensure stable power and cooling, and agree a recovery procedure for this exact board - Select just one miner. Keep passwords in your local Toolkit, never send them to a website or chat 1. Open Toolkit, create New group, add your miner's IP or local range in Ranges and scan. Select the one confirmed miner 2. Open Commands / All Commands and choose Install firmware for supported stock; Update firmware for existing VNISH. Do not upload our archive through the BITMAIN stock web updater 3. Choose the folder containing our archive. Set Firmware name to vnish and Firmware version to 1.3.6 without the letter v. Check the model shown by Toolkit before confirming 4. Confirm the operation locally and follow Operations until completion. Do not cut power or start another operation while writing 5. Open the miner's web interface, check the installed version and your pools. Watch temperatures, hashrate and errors until stable before expanding to other miners Supported CVITEK / CV builds of VNISH 1.3.6 start automatically after restart. Earlier CV versions may require Toolkit → Restore firmware to relaunch VNISH; this is not factory-stock recovery. SSH / authentication error: stop, check local network access and the miner password configured in Toolkit. Keep the exact error log for support. An SSH error alone is not a reason to install newer stock SD/USB recovery is a separate board-specific procedure. On AML with stock from September 2025 or later, USB unlocking may be needed for that recovery route, not as a blanket prerequisite for Toolkit installation Third-party firmware can affect the manufacturer's warranty. Do not bypass security warnings, interrupt writing or use a file for a similar model Previous versions remain available in the catalog. Firmware version must match the version in your selected file name, without the letter v Support: https://t.me/vnish_global_support Guide: https://vnish.foundation/install/ Antminer Z15 Pro: VNISH 1.3.7 Stable, Equihash / ZEC, XIL NAND only. Hashcore Toolkit >=1.7.5 for installation and update using the same package. Manual frequency and voltage; full autotune is planned for 1.3.8, not available in 1.3.7. https://vnish.foundation/id/firmware/z15pro/
